Phillips Legal Support, LLC stands apart because we are a network of highly skilled, independent remote paralegals, each bringing deep experience across their specific areas of law. Our model isn’t new or untested. We launched in 2011 under the name Girl Friday Paralegal Services and, over nearly a decade of successes and hard-won lessons, we refined and perfected a niche approach that truly works. Every paralegal on our team is rigorously vetted, ensuring our clients receive only the most experienced, reliable, and professional support in the industry.
Not necessarily. While our hourly rate may be slightly higher than an in-house paralegal’s wage, you pay only for the work actually performed—not for downtime, benefits, payroll taxes, equipment, training, or office overhead. For most solo and small practices, this creates immediate and long-term savings.
The result is simple: freelance paralegal support delivers superior flexibility, lower overhead, and higher efficiency. It’s a proven win-win for small firms.
We treat confidentiality as a non-negotiable priority. Phillips Legal Support, LLC employs strict protocols to safeguard your work product and client data, including secure document-handling practices, controlled access systems, and confidentiality agreements with every paralegal on our team.
Conflicts are rare, but if an issue arises, you will be notified immediately so it can be addressed without delay. Your firm’s information is protected at every stage of our engagement

You can use our service for as little or as much support as your business needs. You only pay for the work that you need.
We have four easy steps to get you started with us.
We begin with a free telephone consultation, or you may complete our online questionnaire, to help us understand your firm’s needs and workflow.
From there, the process is straightforward:
2. Proposal: We provide a detailed project proposal outlining scope, timelines, and rates.
3. Agreement: Once you approve the proposal, we send our Independent Contractor Agreement. This is signed only once and governs all future projects.
4. Portal Access: After both parties sign, we issue your secure login credentials. Through our encrypted platform, you and your staff can communicate directly with your assigned paralegal(s), upload documents, track progress, and manage projects until completion.
The entire onboarding process is designed to be simple, secure, and efficient.
